My mission is to travel as much as possible, and that's why my name is Lors From my first trip abroad, I spent the trip of the year in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, with Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club (LHVC). This was my first time using Groupon to travel to a hotel and my first experience at an all-inclusive resort.

The Residence Suites were beautiful

Depending on the package I booked, I stayed at the Residence Suites. The suite included a king bed with a full living and dining area, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with stove, utensils and minibar with water, beer and coffee, soft drinks, as well as outdoor space. Space to eat, relax or smoke overlooking the pool. I loved the fresh flowers on the bathroom towels; Nice gesture. Below are the different sites available at LHVC and the video tour of my room.

The food at Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club was excellent

We didn't have room service, but LHCV is full of restaurants. Breakfast is normally à la carte and, depending on the restaurant, lunch and dinner are the respective menu options. Below are the restaurants we ate at from day 1 to day 4. I'm a meat lover, so eating at the Brazilian restaurant was a plus.

Activities and services were on time

LHVC Puerto Plata offers free shuttle service throughout the resort. It is available and departs every 25 minutes from 7am to 7pm. to 11pm We barely stayed at the resort as we enjoyed the outback safari and city tours, but amenities include access to over 19 restaurants, 39 bars, adult and children's pools, beaches, nightclub , spa services (for a fee), etc. as well as water and land sports. LHVC also offers daily activities for children aged 4 to 12, a teen club and a nursery. To use the babysitting service, a reservation is required.

As a girl who usually drinks tea for breakfast and lunch and a sad excuse for dinner, it was shocking how many carbs I ate.

The Bar

I have my love for “Banana Tendo Discovering Mom, a rum cocktail popular in the Dominican Republic, I went to the bar across from my suite. The waiters knew my order upon arrival and always had my favorite drink ready in seconds.

The Beach

To be honest, I only went to the beach once. I explored the area a bit, but at this point in my trip I wasn't particularly interested in sunbathing or swimming, so I stayed inland, near restaurants and pools.

The gardens

The gardens were always well looked after and we felt safe. I have never been nervous about walking alone at night and have always enjoyed my evening walks until dinner.

Guests have the opportunity to rent personal golf carts to get around. across the field. property if they think they will go to the beach or other restaurants every day.
